How many Independence Day celebrations are in our futures? How long before our government seizes that last bastion of freedom that once belonged to We The People? Indeed, as I have often said since the final days of the 2008 election season, we are facing the threat of the new monarchy in Washington.
For those among you who are committed to resist the persistent tide of socialism that erodes the shoreline of our American Dream, remember the courage of our forefathers when the days grow darkest. They challenged the greatest power in the world in their day and succeeded in winning our Independence. Who would have believed it possible, were it not now a part of our recorded history? We too, can achieve victory. We need only to realize that with faith in the providence of Almighty God, anything is possible.
These words, therefore, are for the fighters of the New Revolution, the New Fight for Liberty and Preservation of Our Independence . . .
And as I stood in the shadow of the great mountain,
I marveled at its vast cascades and ever-reaching pinnacles.
Who am I to conquer its heights? I questioned.
By what strength can I unsettle even the smallest boulder from off its foot?
Then came to me the words of the Man from Galilee:
Take up thy mustard seed O brothers and sisters of Liberty!
Let blaze thy Faith! And watch this great mountain before you move from off its seat.
